Chakra balancing is the foundation of attracting abundance to every aspect of your life

In my view chakra balancing is the first step to working on making headway on your path to well-being. If your chakras are out of balance it is difficult to maintain a positive attitude and put energy behind your intent to attract what you desire into your life. It is tough to address one aspect of the energy system without touching upon the others, but I will try to remain focused on the 7 main chakras for this article. I should also add that I am by no means a master of the chakras, but I can share my experiences and what has worked for me to achieve balance in my life. I am focusing on addressing balancing the 7 main chakras in this article since it is fairly easy to get to a point where you can work on these yourself to maintain them in balance.

Before I progress any further I should state that I am not a healthcare professional, nor shall any of the opinions in this article be considered anything but my own opinions and experiences. If you are experiencing physical or mental issues you should always consult a licenced healthcare professional first. Any of the modalities described here are complementary to the healthcare prescribed by your doctor and should be viewed as advice for general well being.

Chakras are energy centres that regulate our emotional state of mind. Individually they can be balanced, over or under active. For example, before I started my own healing journey, my moods were all over the place, but as I managed to get my lower (root, sacral and solar plexus) chakras more balanced, I tended to spend much time in the clouds because my crown chakra was over active. Conflicts in our daily lives tend to affect our lower chakras and most of the work I do is to keep them humming along nicely. The upper chakras are more work to actually get up to speed as it were. If your chakras are imbalanced they will cause your state of mind to be imbalanced and will ultimately cause physical ailments as well. The featured image for this article show the colours, location and Sanskrit symbols for the 7 chakras we are addressing here, there are actually 12 main ones in total, but 5 exist outside the physical body, so we’ll leave them for another article. Below are a list of the 7 in-body chakras and their representations and emotional influences.

  • Root Chakra — Represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded.
Emotions: Survival issues such as financial independence, money and food.
  • Sacral Chakra — Our connection and ability to accept others and new experiences.
Emotions: Sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure and sexuality.
  • Solar Plexus Chakra — Our ability to be confident and in control of our lives.
    Emotions: Self-worth, self-confidence and self-esteem.
  • Heart Chakra — Our ability to love.
Emotions: Love, joy and inner peace.
  • Throat Chakra — Our ability to communicate.
Emotions: Communication, self-expression of feelings and the truth.
  • Third Eye Chakra — Our ability to focus on and see the big picture.
Emotions s: Intuition, imagination, wisdom and the ability to think and make decisions.
  • Crown Chakra — The highest chakra represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually.
Emotions: Inner and outer beauty, our connection to spirituality and pure bliss.

As a chakra balancing anecdote I can tell you I suffered from lower back and hip pains for the better part of 15 years, I had regular hay fever and late onset of food allergies. ‘Miraculously’ after my healing abilities were revealed and when I started working on my chakras, the pains vanished and my allergies subsided to the point where I can now eat the foods I couldn’t before. They all come back from time to time when I am faced with particular emotional garbage and fears, but now I know what they are and can easily deal with them in meditation.

There are a number of techniques used for chakra balancing. Below is a selection:

  • Meditation
  • Reiki
  • Yoga
  • Breath work
  • Craniosacral therapy
  • Pranic healing
  • Holistic healing
  • Crystals

The foundation for starting chakra balancing should, in my view, always be a solid regular practice of meditation. It didn’t take me years of practice to get to know my chakras and physically feel when they are unbalanced, it took about a month. Now, granted I have a bit to go in terms of reaching enlightenment, so I constantly have to work on them as I am working through issues . The point is, it didn’t take me long to get to the point where I could take charge and so can you. You will, as I did, find very good guided chakra meditations on YouTube. However, below are additional recommendations I can give for good and comprehensive guided meditation:

I use a wide variety of meditation tracks from Amazon Prime Music as well:

Of course, my other preferred chakra balancing technique is Reiki healing. The purpose of the Reiki healing energy is to balance the chakras and there are few more effective ways to do it than with Reiki.

Yoga, crystals and breath work are other techniques that I am starting to explore. I will report back on those when I have more experiences.

The point of this article is to show case how chakra balancing will help bring harmony in to your life so that you can focus on positive thoughts, affirmations and energies to attract abundance and wealth in every aspect of your life. Without balance and harmony, you are focused on dealing with negative emotions and influences to see the beauty of life and the good things that are to come in your life despite the challenges you may have at present.
